The Technology:

Sky-View Technologies broadcast signal to your home or business using Licensed Frequencies from the FCC. Licensed Frequencies allow Sky-View to be the only user of the frequencies used and transmit at an adequate power level to reach far beyond other wireless providers. Many companies utilize frequencies in the unlicensed frequencies areas. Companies that rely on unlicensed frequencies share those frequencies with many other companies and can interfere with each other causing poor customer service. Sky-View Technologies has been in business since 1992 and has invested in the best technology to serve our customers. For reliability and customer service Sky-View Quality soars above the rest.

From Your Home or Business to the World Wide Web

Sky-View Installs an antenna on your home or business to receive and transmit to our main sites. Our Sites are connected to Fiber Backbones that distribute data throughout the world.

In Your Home or Business

From the antenna on your home or business a coax cable is run to a Docsis Cable Modem. The Modem is a standard in the industry. From the Modem a Cat 5 connector can connect to your computer. If you have multiple Computers in your home you may also need a router which allows multiple computers to be connected. Wireless routers also extend to wireless computers in the home. Sky-View recommends that customers lock down Wireless Routers to avoid neighbors from accessing personal data. Sky-View also has available a Wireless Modem Router Combo unit that allows multiple wireless computers to have access. These Modem Router Combos are sold for 130.00 plus tax or Free with a 2 year sign-up agreement.

The Sky is Falling

Are atheists petitioning the FCC to ban religious broadcasting?

E-mail describes Juval Aviv's predictions for upcoming terrorist attacks on the U.S.

Are some brands of cat litter radioactive?

Everyday we are bombarded with emails. How many do we read and simply pass on without checking them out. Many emails have been circulating for years. If we pass things on that may not be true isn’t that gossip. I get concerned when I hear my country is being threatened. Even if it is in an email. Like Chicken Little, if we continue to pass along false statements, when will we know if the Sky is truly falling. I prefer to use Snopes.com to check it out. I also like to reply to whoever sends me the email so that they know if something is true or not. A simple Copy and paste of the URL is sufficient. Remember the Internet is full of information provided by other people. It may be true, or it may not be. Even working with Genealogy through the internet needs to be researched. I have seen several variations of the same family tree. That alone could start a whole new talk show. As in life we must use good judgment as we continue to feed the electronic database we call the internet.
